In the first post is written "EU only". If you have it reflash with odin the stock kernel (you should not loose your data).
As I cannot test on device, for the moment I support only the international version (not USA and not KR)

hey, just a quick heads up, does Australia have the USA version or the EU-version.

I'm looking to pick it up from here http://www.simplyelectronics.net/mai...d=14096&sd=acc

but if that is incompatible with this then i'll just pick one up from ebay from a European seller

After buying a tablet I'm actually really impressed with android os and am looking to replace my iPod touch and this sounds like it will improve sound quality

I bought it from there. It is from hong kong (which is an international version.)

I knew the title. I just wanted to give it a shot btw, I restored my Korean firmware. It will be very kind of you if you can make a tutorial on how you create the custom kernel I really interested in it, but dont know where to start

There is a report of a guy which tried my custom rom on a HK international GP4.0 and he said it worked.
You won't brick your device but I advise you to backup the original firmware before flashing, just in case you need original firmware back.

I don't develop for devices I don't own especially on kernel hacking because I can't test it and it would result in bricking devices.

Hi,
I have fellow your instruction but at the end my SGS wifi 4.0 write "--copying media files..." and it's blockes!! :s i have acces to download mode but not recorvery mode!Help me please!!

To go to recovery, with the device powered off, keep pressing Vol Up, home button and power button, when samsung logo shows release power button only.

For the notification panel I edited SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk, have a look in xda-developers forum

Try reflashing kernel with ODIN

Did you use ROM Manager?
