strange crackling and beeps when pausing music and selecting other songs #Clip+

Any solution for the problem described in the title? I'm running rockbox 3.10 installed through the rockbox utility. When I change a song or pause my music I hear a strange crack/beep through my in ears... can this be fixed by installing another rockbox version?

There had been a crackling issue with the original firmware for the Clip Zip, but that was corrected with the next firmware release.
