Is it possible to make .xml documents by self to read them in players rss reader?
I tried to make .opml doc and sync it through zens RSS sync program, but it didn't do anything... Player shows the .xml with saved name but when trying to open it says "no valid content". So is there some specific coding that zen is able to read? How should I write the text? Just came as an idea of faster readable and accessable text docs than through apps... Thanks |

I have the formation of their rss feed reader ( and other 'features'). I plan/currently am working on some programs that will replace Creative's. One of which is a document to rss reader converter ( maybe .txt,.doc,.docx, to the zen, etc). I will re-post in this thread when I finish my converter and have made sure the formation of the xml file works properly.

Sounds great! Wish you good luck with that project, can't wait when it's ready!
Just curiosity, how difficult would it be to modify notepad app in player to save files as xml file into rss directory? Then one could write in player and read it easily later. Like making notes. Thanks

It may be possible to have a notetaking-app save documents as XML (which I suppose jbob is developing for pc), but an app can't save to the RSS dir.
These apps can only access (sub) folders of the Applications folder, so you would still need a pc to copy them over..
