Looks like at least they are moving in the right direction. Up to 51 hours of battery life is nothing to sneeze at. Now if they only can move to BBE instead of SRS, it would make an interesting player.

What? How can they advertise basic features as selling points? I mean, "Use the USB cable for charging and transferring your media"? Seriously...

Well the A-B function is actually kinda special in todays pure MP3 players, but that feature was hidden among all the other pretty pointless "features".

Also, why the heck is everything 1/6? Is that some kind of message? :P

Although the battery life is in a good direction, the player looks like a fail to me with that UI. Does anyone else see the similarity to a Sansa Fuze plus?

I'm still holding out for iriver to reless somthing like the spinn. Honestly, it was one of the best players I have ever owned.

Also reminds me of my Samsung YP-Z5. That's probably just the orientation of the screen.

Not that I'm likely to buy one (unless one falls into my lap for under $20), but a couple of questions...
  1. what type of cable? The picture looks like a mini-USB (ie like the Clip+).
  2. what countries is this likely to be sold in?

It does seem a bit like the Sansa Fuze Plus, especially with the non-tactile control pad. I was interested in this player until I saw that.

as I can remember this isn't a new device. it was released months ago (if I'm not wrong) I saw it in a shop few days ago & it looked used to me & also I think I have saw it in iRiver Australia months ago maybe even near a year ago.I'm not completely sure but I'm pretty sure that it's not a new release.

I wouldn't be surprised if we missed out on the coverage, there doesn't seem to be many redeeming qualities except the battery life IMO.

to be honest I think they sell much more than Cowon they change their models every few months a they have other stuff like Ebook reader &...
So how Cowon has survived?! with some random players ever 2 year?!
