On this blog you can find every week the sales ranking for mp3 players in Korea and at best iRiver gets 5th with the Ex00. Of course Samsung sell much more than iRiver and Cowon in Korea but also worldwide.
Cowon has maybe survived because they manage to sell worldwide in contrary to iRiver?

in my county iRiver sells much more than Cowon.
they have better price tags. a high majority of ppl don't care about sound quality they can't even recognize the deference.
my friend always make fun at me when it comes to sound quality.

I found a chines player only for 20$ with higher capacity
what is in this sansa thing you always talk about ....
& so many other stuff they say...

portable music devices is a very unknown category for most ppl.

Your friend needs a friendly referral to this site

Cowons are somewhat rare up here (can only find the iAudio 9, S9, and J3 easily), but iRiver is practically non-existent.

Asian market is a very different Subject.
here we have all Asian iRiver models.

different taste, different advertising, finally different results.

will this post is off topic but I most say I was born in middle of war we lived right by the side of national airport I still remember the sound & shape of the bombers & sound explosion & vibration &... so many harsh a sad things...
so these stuff are not new for me.
I'm more concerned about the heavy earthquake Tehran will have in the next few years & we can't do anything about it.
besides all of these I'm living my life and I don't care about politics &...
have seen enough for a life time can't erase the situation that i'm into & can't solve it either at least I can ignore it & live my life like the rest of my ppl.

Yep.

Tbh i'm too in love with rockbox these days to consider any other player than sansa that might have a quick turnaround of a port.
The only other device i'm still waiting for is a cowon version of a sansaclip.

Yeah, only if... It was still a nice player regardless. The B100 looks like it could be worht a shot, seeing as it has a micro SD slot and it's only $120.

But, is the micro sd card fully integrated into the music library - ala' the Sansa players?

PS: this is the first time I've heard of the B100,...I kinda like it!!!

I don't know... But it's a cool little player if it dose. Maybe it will be my "happy tax return day" gift to myself! Can't make up my mind on what I want though.

Where did you see it for $120? On ebay.com the 4GB is $186 and the 8GB $225.

Hopefully this isn't a Fuze+ in iRiver clothing. Given comments about iRiver over the last couple of years, I wouldn't be surprised.

It's actually $128 On exportprive.com, but that's only the 4GB. I don't think that it's much like the Fuse, mayber though.

So I guess it's closer to $130, I guess that I'm just bad with numbers today. Haha
