Im having a unique problem with the Fuze+ 16gb. I've filled up the player and a 16gb micro SD card with music. Now a few albums/artists are not showing in the list but on iTunes their mp3 tags are perfectly fine. Even when I used to listen to these artists on my phone, the tags were recognized properly. Other than this the player is fine. I just wish I could listen to these artists normally instead of looking at the list of "Unknown Artist"
Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks |

Just because they show up right in iTunes doesn't mean anything with a Sansa player. Sansa players prefer their tags set up like this......use these options in MP3Tag, as seen below.......
![]() And remove extraneous tags such as comments, and the like..... This should speed up your refresh time when you add new songs too.

Beyond what Marvin says (check Mpeg), if using MP3tag I would check each level under "tag" to see what the program is writing or remove the checks under "writing" in that tab (next tab is Ape, Mpc …)

Thanks for your replies. mp3tag doesn't work for me because I use OSX.
Anyway its sorted now. There was a problem because those artists had id3 2.4 tags. Once I converted them to 2.3 in itunes, it became alright. |
