Default Rockbox Utility Problem?

Is anyone else having this problem with the Rockbox Utility application? Anytime I try to click on the install theme button it gives an error saying to check my network and proxy settings, which are fine, but for this application it can't connect and its been having this problem for several days, thus I can't download any of the themes available, unless manually. The same error comes after I install Rockbox to my iPod,the installation goes fine but after that it tries to gather theme information then gives the same error and aborts.

It's not just you, apparently....

My installation of the current build went just fine, however.
Now I did see there is a new version of the Utility available for download.....didn't bother with it today, but perhaps that might have something to do with it?

A good reason to learn the manual install method.

1 - Unzip the theme folder, select and copy the contents of this folder (ctrl - c).
2 - Plug in your player, go to root of player and paste (ctrl - v). When the prompt asks you to overwrite, click "Yes to all," it can’t get any easier than that.

The intent of my post was simply to illustrate to Lagoo that he was not alone in experiencing that....but you're correct, if I really needed a theme or the fonts, I would know how to do the manual install.

The error on the Rockbox site that caused this error was corrected several days ago. I'd try again with the most recent Rockbox Utility, that's 1.2.13 right now.

I just installed a theme and it worked as expected. If it's still doesn't work after you update you should let them know on the Rockbox site.
