Default Musicbee issues with wav tagging

I just started using musicbee a couple weeks ago, and it looks like as I push wav files out to multiple computers, random tracks are missing artist (when viewed through windows media player 11). Anyone see this before?

I know media player stinks, but it's all I can use at work (no unauthorized software installations), and never had this issue when I was ripping with it, and copying the files to other machines.

Use Foobar2000 in portable mode, no installation needed.

Also, why not convert the WAVs to FLAC? Takes up half the space, and has much better tagging capabilities than non-standard WAV RIFF chunks.

dfkt's got good suggestions......

But that only assumes you'd be able to run the portable program at your work. Depending on how smart your IT department is, you may or may not be able to run foobar2000.

On the computers I use every day on a school network, I can't open any .exe files (Win7) .

BUT, if it does work, then definitely do convert your WAVs to FLACs. And use foobar2000 instead .

Good luck....
