This is strange, because I have read many complaints both here and the Sandisk forum where people had trouble getting different cards to work with the original firmware......but I don't recall ever hearing that a card didn't work with Rockbox but did work with the original firmware.

Your issues really are a mystery to me. I guess the next question is this.....if the original firmware is working for you, then why not stick with it? You'll just have to choose.....use the .12 firmware and have playlist support and occasional burst of static between songs, or use the .18 firmware and not have playlists.

Rockbox have many better Features.

Building Playlist on Player.
Rename Features.
More formats
Theme Support
EQ hz frequenz Modification. Better EQ generally.
EQ Present support.
Playlist Max Entry Limit over 1000. Original Limit is 1000.
Channging Font Size

when Rockbox will work, is the better Firmware.

I have buy the clip Zip for use with Rockbox.

Believe me, I know the benefits of Rockbox.....I've been using it for close to two years now.

But it is a mystery to me and apparently everyone else why it doesn't work for you....it does everything just fine on my two Zips. Maybe you should return it and try a Clip+ instead.

Guys. Return it is not possible.

In Germany we have a 14 Days Return right without Reason. After that i need a reason.

Work not with rockbox is without Reason.

Similar SD-Card. Work on Original and PC. No reason to Return.
