SGP4.2 - cases/screens

I'm looking around and not finding a lot of case/protection options for the 4.2 player yet - but looking at specs on the Samsung site, it measures 2.6" x 4.89" x .35" to the 4.0 Player at 2.53" x 4.87" x 0.39". Does anyone with a 4.2 have recommendations for accessories, either from other models at similar size or some of the limited number of 4.2-specific ones out there? Obviously a full-body case wouldn't be swappable with a 4.0", but my real concern right away is screen protection.

Dude it just came out, give it a few months for the case companies to design something, the 4.0 didn't get a case till at least 3 months after it came out.

You must have not have gotten the SGP 4.0 or 5.0 right when it came out then. Riot Outfitter silicone cases were available at best buy right when the SGP 4.0 and 5.0 were released. I know because I bought one

Yes the cases for the 4.0 & 5.0 were available almost immediately, as is usually the case (no pun intended) when a new device is released.

I got my 4.0 in late november / early december and I couldn't for the life of me find ANY cases until these Rearth cases showed up on AMAZON 3-4 weeks AFTER I got my player.

Would really love to get a hard shell case like an Otterbox Commuter series but unfortunately there's very little love for these players from the case manufactures.

I've been using my SGP5.0 since December with no case on the device itself; it's fine. And thinner without a case. I have a pDair leather belt holster and that works great.

I put a Zagg Invisible Screen on right away. It's a good screen protector but last night I stuffed the device in my back pocket alongside my wallet and it "peeled back" about 3/4" of the protector plastic material...so now I have to replace it.

you can usually (at least that is what i did when my zagg shield got peeled back) just use a little of the installation solution that comes with it and just stick it back on. mine has stayed put pretty well since , and it has been a couple of weeks now.

When I had purchased my 5.0 I bought a (crappy!!!) leather case from Best Buy. It held me over until I got a better case later on. BB might have something in store, but doesn't have it on their website. That was the way it was with the case I got there, as it was added to the online site afterwards.

Call them, see if there's anything available.

I use the riot outfitters plastic case. It is pretty decent.
