I installed Rockbox on my Clip Zip and it's pretty cool but I prefer the original firmware since I'm not doing anything too snazzy with it. I tried to uninstall Rockbox and run the Sansa firmware updater, but it wouldn't run. I also tried to drop the Sansa firmware file into the root directory of the device after uninstalling Rockbox, but that didn't do anything. It just said that it was missing a file and I needed to connect to USB.
Could someone please tell me how to get the original Sansa firmware reinstalled on my Clip Zip? |

After deleting the .rockbox folder hold the |<< button on the D pad when you boot after dropping in a copy of original firmware. That boots the original firmware and triggers the firmware update that removes Rockbox.
