Default ESPN Radio arrives on Windows Phone as a nine-month Nokia exclusive

Sports fans rejoice! ESPN Radio is making is rolling out to Windows Phone users at this very moment, allowing those with Nokia Lumia handsets to take advantage of the app’s 35+ ESPN Radio Podcasts - including and customizable stations.

Content includes SportsCenter; live broadcasts of games – including the “World Series, College Bowl Games, BCS Championship game, Wimbledon, US Open Golf, and every college football game that ESPN Radio broadcasts” – ESPN Radio stations, ESPN Radio Network, and ESPN Deportes; and more. The app will also let you download shows for offline listening, save your favorite stations for easy access, and check out live discussions on Twitter.

The free ESPN Radio app is currently rolling out to the Windows Phone Marketplace, so if you can’t find it yet then check back in a day or two. If you don’t own a Lumia handset, you’ll have a long wait ahead of you. The Verge is hearing that ESPN Radio will be a Nokia exclusive until May 2013, nine months from now.

What’s your favorite (or least favorite) thing about ESPN Radio?
