firmwares for cowon x9

hi i recenly bought this mp3 player as i couldnt find the j3 nowhere to buy .the mp3 is not bad it has the same cowon sq but its big for a daily usage.But the best part is the 100 hours battery
The thing i dont like is that The ui lags you have to press the touch screen hard to open something.and its not smooth like the ipods.
so my question is if there are any firmwares like in the j3 that you can change the ui and customize it and mabe they can fix the thing with the mp3s smoothness
and one last question is how to transfer videos. i need to convert them? or the x9 can play any file i download.

Supposedly, the custom UI designed for the Cowon X7 will work on the X9 also, but I can't confirm that myself....I just use it the way it is. Can't help you with the video question either....I only use it for music.
