How can I disable the button lights?
What are the ways I can temporarily prevent the lights on the buttons from turning on? When using the SGP in the dark. these lights are much brighter than my screen, to the point that they hurt my eyes anytime they turn on. Do I need to root my device (SGP 4.0) in order to do this and if so, is there a way to do that using a Mac?

Here is the thread where i asked that same question. Follow Daniels link he posts in there. It works great. Only downside is you have to run the widget every time you reboot or shut it down. I have not found a permanent way to kill them.
