Hi...
I'm trying since 2 days to find a workable method to root my device. I've installed Kies which is useless piece of garbage as it cant even connect to my device. Then I tried superonleclick (both 2.2 & 2.3 versions) but for some unknown reason its giving me this error Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application although i've the latest version of dot net framework & am running windows xp with sp3. then i've tried the method as mentioned here on xda and got the following after running it but nothing happened. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1424358) Can someone please help me in rooting my device? Also, please could someone tell me what is the difference between rooting and installing custom roms? ![]() Quote:

just flash a pre-rooted ROM using Odin, it is so much easier then trying to trouble shoot why the stock won't root.

unless you got the Korean version, you'll want to flash the international version: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1465144
I believe the steps are exactly the same as shown above, except you load the international files |
