Sound Problem with E30

HI!

after a year with my dear E30, i started to notice the sound volume got more and more low every day over the last month.
now can i hardly hear anything, even with the volume on maximum
i tried new hearphones but the problem are the same..

anyone came across the same problem? or anyone got an idea for a solution?

Fixed your title, while I don't have an irever have you tried to re-firmware or is it still under warranty?

i tried the firmware nok luck there and the warranty are long gone
Reset and formatting do not work either.

Since you are over warranty and nothing else seems to work, if you are tech savvy, I’d look for a tutorial that you can open her up. I’d check things like the female 3.5mm headphone jack wiring first; maybe a simple re-soldering would do the trick or it's possible the inside of the jack is worn out. While it's probably impossible to source a new jack to replace it, unless you can buy an old player on the cheap for parts, it's worth the look. Warning this isn’t for the faint of heart and could damage your player worse if you don’t know what you are doing.

thanks for giving me some advice -it means alot to me.

for some reason are my e30 working again. i think the player arent working properly in low temperature, (i work usually outside, right now it's around freezing point in the morning)

Good catch, I've read that about other players as well, freezing up in colder temps. Good luck with it ...
