Sony NWZS765B.CEW died suddenly.Please help!!!

First of all: Hello everybody!
I have a problem with my Sony walkman NWZS765B.CEW Series 16GB.Unfortunately, from yesterday my walkman won't power up or charge or show any kind of 'life' when the usb is connected to the computer or other usb port, after battery got fully discharged.I tried everything so far: reseting, other usb ports and devices, different usb cables.Nothing...It's almost new mp3, just 10 months old and hardly used.Is it possible that the battery died so quickly?Maybe that model has any other common problems.Any ideas guys?I am desperate to fix it

Obvious answer but if its only that old, why not take it back under warranty?. If that's not possible, I'd suggest using this tutorial http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68793 and see if yours uses the same battery, which would be cheap enough to gamble it fixing the problem.
