Clip Zip Rockbox Text Viewer Bookmarks

I received a Clip Zip today (I accidently destroyed my Clip+ while trying to fix the headphone jack) and installed Rockbox onto it as soon as possible, using dfkt's latest patched build from the Rockbox: Clip Zip thread. No problems there. But when I loaded some text files onto the Clip Zip and tried to use the bookmark function, nothing happened when I pressed the 'Submenu' and 'Select' keys. I checked the manual, so I know I clicked the correct keys. Has anybody ran into this issue, and if so, can they offer a solution?

Any help is appreciated.

Bookmark a text file in Rockbox? Never heard of that. Do you mean to add it to your Shortcuts?

Er, not really.
There's a text viewer plugin in Rockbox [ http://download.rockbox.org/daily/ma...-25300012.3.13 ] and it allows the placement of 'bookmarks' in the text file being viewed, which allows you to jump back and forth. It's convenient when you're rereading large text files so you don't have to scroll a lot to find a specific section. :P

Just checked it on a Clip+ vs. a Clip Zip. The Submenu and Select keys work on the Clip+ to create a bookmark. On the Clip Zip they cause the screen to flash between the context menu and the body of the text file without creating a bookmark.

I'd try updating to the development build and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, it's probably a bug and should be reported.

Yup, that sounds like what happened to me. I'm now using the newest development build and the problem still persists, so excuse me while I look up how to file a bug report.
