How do I get rid of sweep screen Galaxy5 YP-G70

Hello,
Does anyone know how to get rid of the sweep screen login on the Galaxy 5 YP-G70 ? I want it set up so that when I turn it on it is ready to go without having to sweep/swipe the screen.
I have searched the Internet and found that there should be a way through the hidden maintenance menu but could not find the details.
I also contacted samsung support and they were clueless.

Use an app like No Lock, and never turn the player all the way off. Just close out what apps you're using when you are done. I never turn mine off....

thanks ... I'll give it a try ... I don't turn mine off either ... it just goes off by itself ... so I guess that's sleep mode instead of off ?

Search google play for No Lock or No Lock Screen. I think no lock remains in memory and may survive reboot. While no lock screen does not return after rebooot.

Does No Lock keep the device from going to sleep ? if that's true won't it drain the battery ?

No, it doesn't. Or shouldn't, at least. I've used it on my HTC Incredible and Incredible 2, and the sleep/timeout function is unaffected.

dude just go to the screen lock options in settings and set NONE and boom no more lockscreen, it's under the security menu.

I tried that on my 5.0 and it doesn't seem to work.

Set screen lock
None

No dice. What am I doing wrong?

Selecting none for the screen lock in settings does not eliminate the need to sweep the screen, it just means no password, pin, pattern etc.. Is needed.

choosing "None" did away with it on my RAZR maxx and my Galaxy tab 2 maybe it was a change with ICS, I will restore my 4.0 back to stock GB and test it there later tonight.


edit: just restored to stock GB and yeah none doesn't do anything in GB, must be a change they did in ICS.
