Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 (YP-GI1) questions.

Recently acquired one of these players cheap, but I have a few questions:

*Is there anywhere I can get a replacement battery cover or could I use a Samsung phone one as a temporary fix? I have looked everywhere!

*Is there a way to always pause music when headphones are removed instead of playing through speakers, or is this dependant on what music app you are using?

*Is the only way to root this device to flash it with Odin?

*Are there any other tweaks/tips or hacks I should know for this player?

pause on headphones is APP specific, I suggest Poweramp it has settings for both pause on headphone unplug and play on headphone plug in.

To my knowledge the ONLY way available to root the 4.2 is to flash the ROOTED ROM that is over on XDA, which requires Odin.

Thanks for your help, I managed to root successfully and can now begin trying out media players (and launchers).

I just saw a couple, Black only on ebay, when searching for 4.2 battery. Not sure if they were from international seller or not.
