Default Nokia 808

I just bought a brand new Nokia 808 for $389AUD, this is to be my successor to my Galaxy S2.
I'm crazy right?

If you're looking for a camera OTG it's great. Otherwise, it's ok.

That is why I got it. After over a years worth of using my S2 I realise the majority of use is calls, txt, google maps, taking pics and uploading to fb.
I have numerous apps on the s2 that i never use, all my needs in theory can be met better by the 808.
Although there are new devices with better than 8mp camera's being released i'll never be able to afford the newest and latest.

After the reviews accompanied by pics taken with your shiny new camera/phone right? This just screams "Pics, or it didn't happen!". I'll be looking forward to those.

I read over at gsmarena it has very good sound quality. Is that what your ears are telling you?

The 808? Yeh its got good sound recording quality (and call quality apparently), i don't know about soundplay back tho, that's not the focus really (hence i9+).

I'd like to see comparisons between the 808's and the HTC One's cameras.

I'm open to the possibility that there will soon be better camera's on mobiles than the 808 (and of course carrying a better OS than Symbian), but i won't be able to afford them anytime soon, this ultimately led me to the 808.
The Xperia Z is 13mp and waterproof as well, that's attractive to me.

My Lumia 920 sometimes takes great pix, other times they suck. I hate inconsistency,...

This was a rail job on Saturday.

^Ha! Still stuck with my crappy 3.2MP camera on my 9700 (the main problem is not the quality, but the lag between pressing the button and the shot being taken). August can't come soon enough so I can finally get a new phone

It arrived, i like it The weight, shape and size is great tbh, better than the s2.
Some might complain about the weight of the device but for this purpose I quite like that extra weight, makes me feel more steady in hand for taking pics.
I took a couple of quick sample shots and was very impressed with the low light ability and quality of the flash, not to mention that even on the 5.2 megapixel pix the zoom in clarity was very good.

Congrats!!! You have to post a pic or 2, for testing purposes.

Now, question, is the flash led or zenon?
