Default The mysterious blue dot on the serial # sticker...

Ok, my ZVM has it, I have read about others' players having also... has anyone figured out it's meaning or purpose? Is it a way of saying my unit passed QC checks or something??

I either don't have one or it rubbed off. It's probably nothing, just a quality control check. Probably means it passed boot up inspection before being sent on to packing.

yea, it smudges off real easy and it would go away as soon as you get it, but if you registered as soon as you got yours, you'd notice the dot under the serial number. maybe its for zvms bought in stores?

Mine came from a store, and I remember looking at it when I got it and there was no dot.

If there are, they would never admit it. You ever go over to the CREATIVE forum? Every once in a while a rep will step in to tell someone to stop flaiming or spamming but they give NO support.
